    • create a "simple" rendered image.

Getting Started

Create a ray-trace image of a certain view point

  1. Select a protein from the tree.
  2. Click on , to load the pymol session of the selected protein.
  3. Change the view point.
  4. Under the Images menu, click on Simple.
  5. Enter a filename for the image.
  6. Click on Save.
  7. Wait for the rendering process to finish before using PyMOL.

Details

  • A simple image renders faster than ray-traced images but has lower quality.
